Hope everyone watched some tennis on TV recently. It was a great Australian Open and watching the players play at the highest level can improve your game. The one thing you want to watch is the footwork. The great players are always ready at two different times. They are ready when their opponent hits the ball and they are ready when they hit the ball.
1st when your opponent hits the ball you want to be in a perfect ready position to be able to move to wherever your opponent hits the ball. This gives you the fastest reaction time to get to the shot.
2nd You want to be completely set when you are hitting your shot to give you the best foundation to hit your shot. Being set is the key to giving you the best chance to make your shot.
Next time you go out and play, prioritize these two things you will see a significant difference in your consistency and overall play
